CYdekicks
The department of oncology at the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) is currently undergoing a pilot program to improve staff wellness. The program is called the CYdekicks program and is designed to encourage department staff to engage in physical activity. Those who take part will be awarded with a commemorative t-shirt and be led through a series of short, low impact exercises to promote cardiovascular health and enhance team cohesion. The programs are free for LHSC employees and volunteers. In the name of wellness, LHSC also offers free access to emotional support services for student learners and physicians. This program is just one way that LHSC is making the health and wellbeing of our employees a top priority.
